The Experience

An oasis of calm in the buzz of trendy Brighton with restaurants, shops and a lively nightlife on your doorstep. Interiors are a joy – each designed by a different artist – an eclectic mix of vintage finds, custom artworks and original Regency features makes for a bohemian atmosphere that creative types will adore.

Treat yourself to coffee in bed, with the windows flung open to views of the glittering sea. Compact kitchenettes have everything you need to whip up breakfast or a simple supper; or head next door to the sister hotel for a deliciously lazy brunch or for dinner – the evening menu showcases fresh, seasonal small plates, cooked over fire.

Soak up the town’s cultural scene: the Lanes for independent shops, art galleries, cool restaurants and the fabulous Royal Pavilion, or head along the coast for quaint seaside villages, ice creams on the seafront and coastal walks. The hotel’s bar is a popular spot for those in the know – round the day off with cocktails on the terrace.

Introducing

Charlie & Justin Salisbury

Justin Salisbury started his small boutique chain almost by accident when he took over his parents' run down guesthouse in Brighton when he was just 20. He did that place up on a shoestring by inviting local artists to decorate the rooms in return for a free stay. This turned out to be his winning formula and together with his wife Charlie they now have several Artist Residences.
