The Experience
These properties are history rich and very old. You stay in what was the grain store, on two floors with a spacious open-plan living space, cosy with a wood-burner and a super bedroom and shower upstairs. From each window are garden views and you’ll wake to lively birdsong. Fresh flowers, a cream tea and other local treats in season are left for you.
Your own terrace is a reviving spot for morning tea or an evening drink but also to store surfboards, beach kit or bikes. In spring and summer pretty flowers tumble from pots and the rest of the garden is all around you, which you’re free to wander. Find hidden seats for a quiet read, or head to the outdoor heated pool for a swim or a sunbathe.
Take long walks through meadows with mown paths, cycle quiet lanes, head to rocky coves or sandy beaches, bring ‘lashings of ginger beer’…

Ennys is a slice of paradise in an incredibly peaceful setting, tucked right away from the world. The Granary was a gorgeous place to stay in - beautifully furnished, squeaky clean, with amazing attention to every last detail. A heavenly bed, luxurious bed linen and towels. Nick and Karen couldn't have been more welcoming, generous and helpful. It was a real treat from start to finish.

Ennys is a beautiful oasis with stunning gardens and an enticing pool, perfectly situated close to countryside, stunning beaches and many fabulous walks. On arrival at the beautifully appointed Granary, we were welcomed with homemade scones, a basket of local goodies and flowers fresh from the garden. Need I say more. Karen and Nick were amazing hosts and it was a joy to be able to share Ennys for a while.

When I arrived at Ennys I felt an immediate sense of calm. It's the outside that really sells this place - the gardens are vast with lots of different feeling areas, beautifully cared for and lots of space to roam. I can imagine staying here, swimming in the pool (heated to a really warm temperature) and watching the sun go down with a glass of fizz. The nearest pub, The Falmouth Packet can easily be walked to and serves excellent food too.

Introducing
Karen West
Karen and Nick moved to Cornwall having spent holidays here and gradually being drawn to the area. They initially lived near Truro before deciding to make West Cornwall their permanent home. They fell in love with Ennys at first sight and continue to develop and nurture it. This is a calming place to stay with a huge amount of history - do ask Karen and Nick about it.
We loved our time at Enny’s - it was incredibly relaxing, comfortable and Karen has thought of every detail. We stayed in The Grange which was really lovely, very spacious, with a beautifully comfortable bed and fully equipped kitchen. We enjoyed having a private terrace where we ate breakfast and dinner a couple of times. Karen sent us several recommendations of local pubs and restaurants, all of which were excellent. We swam in the pool - absolutely gorgeous, such an added bonus having that as well! We would definitely return and look forward to doing so as soon as we can! Thank you x
