Treovis Farm

Lovely location, as pictured and described, very cosy house and lovely surroundings. Very welcoming. Good powerful shower, well equipped kitchen...all you need for a wonderful and peaceful stay away.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in this wonderful farmhouse. The garden is wild in places which we loved, with ample mowed paths and lawns to enjoy. While there are plenty of amazing things to see and do in the surrounding area, it is the garden we will remember most fondly, set in a beautiful location at the top of a valley that stretches out below you. The house itself is very well appointed and had everything we needed. It’s a fantastic place to come back to each evening and is warm and inviting, with lots of space inside. We’d love to return in the future and enjoyed every minute of our stay.

What a wonderful place! We spent 10 days at Treovis Farm and absolutely loved our time there. The house is spacious, comfortable, elegantly decorated and well equipped, we very quickly felt at home. A small hiccup on arrival was swiftly resolved, the hosts are helpful and responsive. The outside space is absolutely magical, views beyond belief, a large open space for our kids to explore, play football and bounce on a trampoline! The living room was a wonderful space for us to cosy up, the fireplace stove was a real treat every evening and added something extra special. The area is stunning.

This house is a little bit of heaven. Beautiful, fabulously and very classily decorated, everything there you could need. And the views …. Have to be seen to be believed. I’d go back at the drop of a hat.

Amazing home in an amazingly beautiful part of the world. We mostly stayed put and enjoyed the countryside, but when we did venture out, it was equally delightful. The surrounding towns are fantastic. Great architecture, great people, great food. Make sure to eat at the Dartmoor Inn, an all organic, locally sourced traditional pub. Soooo good!

Such a beautiful house, we loved our stay here. Can’t wait to come back, it was perfect.

We enjoyed a lovely 3 night stay with our children at Treovis Farm. The accommodation was beautiful and together with the breathtaking views made for a relaxing and peaceful stay. The house was super clean and comfortable with everything that we could need and the communication was excellent. We ventured up to nearby Kit Hill for the lovely views, visited National Trusts Cotehele and of course enjoyed the garden!

After cancelling our Xmas holiday in Austria, we found this gem deep in the Tamar Valley. A beautiful stone farmhouse set on the valley side, with expansive views across to the opposite side. With us staying over Christmas Gabrielle kindly furnished the place with a tree complete with decorations and lights. Such a thoughtful and kind gesture. It was such an ideal place for the festive period, cosy and relaxing. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped and the lounge and dining room perfect for relaxing in front of the stove. We couldn’t have asked for more.

A beautiful stone farmhouse with a gorgeous view of the surrounding farmland. I had such a lovely stay here and loved waking up to the amazing views and countryside each morning. I felt so at home straight away. The house is in a great location (especially if you like secluded countryside with private gardens and fields all around you) it’s 30-45mins to get to Tintagel, Looe, Trebarwith Strand Beach all of which I loved! And Cotehele national trust is 15mins away and a great day out too! Thanks for a lovely stay in such a beautiful place. Will remember our holiday for ever :)

Stunning setting with beautiful views. The house comfortably accommodated our family of five and we had a great time going to beaches both on the North and South coasts. The cottage itself is also very pretty and we had a lovely time playing & BBQ-ing in the garden.

Spacious, secluded and well equipped - this property had everything we had hoped for for a quiet week away.

Beautiful farmhouse, surrounded by great scenery, what’s not to like?! Gabrielle was very thoughtful with the instructions/directions and left us with some nice supplies for our stay.

Beautiful cottage in stunning scenery in the Tamar Valley AONB. The house accommodated 5 of us easily, with a great kitchen hob for family meals, a lovely dining area, and sitting room. The garden is huge with swings and hammocks that the children (and adults) really loved. The house is really well situated for beaches in the north and south coasts and is also near Dartmoor. There are also lovely walks along the Tamar to local pubs direct from the house. We would definitely recommend this to our friends and family

A comfortable and roomy house for a family holiday or a get-together with friends. The garden is big enough for games, woodland is near for den building, the river for paddling or swimming, and parents can relax knowing children are quite safe from traffic.

My partner and I had such a lovely stay at this special place. We didn't know this area of Cornwall before we came and we loved how peaceful it is compared to other more touristy areas. Great base to explore the north and south coasts but actually you can happily spend a day lazing about the garden in one of the hammocks with a book in hand, looking out over the hills and valley - beautiful. We had such a wonderful stay at Treovis. The house is lovely inside and the garden is huge! We had mixed weather but it didn't matter - on the sunny days we headed to the beach and did amazing walks on Dartmoor (nearby), then headed back for a BBQ and on the drizzly day the kids were very happy with the selection of films there and we all felt very cosy with the wood-burner on. Great kitchen for cooking in too. We had a lovely stay and will be back!
