The Threshing Barn

We have always used Sawdays for our holidays and never been disappointed. Our latest stay was at The Threshing Barn in Devon. It was in a beautiful location and the barn itself was sensitively restored and spacious. We all had a fantastic stay and will be booking again. The hosts were helpful and informative and we had everything we needed. The outside space was also perfect for our family - lots of cricket outside in the evenings was an additional bonus! Thank you.

Absolutely spectacular accommodation in a beautiful part of Devon. Easy access to lots of gorgeous beaches and lovely towns. We loved our stay and hope to come back again in the future.

Spacious and beautifully renovated barn in a peaceful location. Beds are very comfortable and everything was clean. Gorgeous bathrooms. Close to stunning beaches, walks and towns. Property would best suit couples or a family with older children due to some steep steps, but there is a lovely large garden which would be ideal for children to play in. Super friendly hosts; we felt very welcomed.

A cosy and comfortable stay in this converted, well appointed barn. A perfect place to explore the nearby coast.

We chose to go to this part of Devon simply on wanting to stay here – it is every bit as amazing as it looks, very comfortable, beautifully converted and equipped better than the majority of rentals. The kitchen is very well equipped: many different glasses, lots of pans, good knives etc. The garden is secure and spacious, perfect for our dog (although smaller dogs could perhaps escape under the gates?). It was peaceful at night-time – we enjoyed watching the last of the summer swallows and housemartins. We walked on the coastal paths but also visited Dartmoor twice, a versatile location!

A beautiful barn , recently renovated with all the modern appliances and elements one could dream for! Far reaching views across the countryside, a lovely airy and clean place with great taste! We felt incredibly comfortable in the space, had a barbecue with friends in their outdoor second kitchen and just enjoyed the space and the surroundings so much! Big plus is you are 5 minutes away from Bantham beach and also the new space called Outside (great organic food, coffee and a worldrenowed skater bowl and activities for kids and adults) We basically spent our entire holiday there.

The accommodation was beautiful and amazingly equipped. Stunning setting with views and clean throughout. We had a wonderful time.

We had a wonderful time at the barn, it's in a beautiful location which we loved and it has been beautifully renovated with everything we needed for the week. We just love that area so great to be back to explore. Thanks for all your help, I'm sure we'd love to stay here again, of course we had the sunshine all week which was an added bonus.

An immaculate and beautifully renovated barn in the middle the Devon’s rolling countryside. Stylishly decorated this is a very comfortable home from home, amazing views across the valley. Perfect for lovers of the outdoor life, wonderful rural walks from the doorstep or take a picnic and explore the coast path, stopping at one of the nearby beautiful beaches for a swim.
