Woodchester Valley Vineyard Barns

Lovely visit, thoroughly enjoyed staying in this beautiful environment for a few days - very pleasant to walk down into Nailsworth to enjoy the town, it’s friendly people and it’s delicious food. The vineyard tasting and tour was excellent also, very welcoming and enthusiastic staff clearly passionate about their work!

What a wonderful place! We arranged for a wine tour which was excellent, well run and interesting and to stay afterwards in one of your barns. We throughly enjoyed ourselves and would recommend Woodchester Valley Vineyard experience to anyone.

Excellent accommodation, with quality furnishings. We had Atcombe on the end. Dual aspect views with 2 outside seating areas and a huge bedroom and balcony There was also a walk-in shower on the ground floor. While there we took in the wine tasting and tour. Very interesting and 5 wines to sample. We preordered a breakfast hamper and evening hamper. Both consisted of fresh local produce. The only thing I could say was that there could have been a few more cracker nibbles with the wine.

An amazing place; beautiful views of the valley, vines and hills up towards Minchinhampton. Very well appointed, good facilities and spacious. Very quiet and comfortable. Nothing to fault. Will be back soon I hope!

Sorry for the broken wine glass! I was trying to wash up but it went wrong! The accommodation was faultless and a pleasure to be in. Very beautiful in the sunrise from the balcony over coffee. Did the vineyard tour which again was so very good. I can’t fault anything.

We had a wonderful stay. We loved the tour, it was really interesting and all the wine was delicious! Rachel was very friendly and knowledgeable and it was so nice to then go and relax in our barn onsite. The barns are beautiful, spacious and very comfortable.

Our second stay from 2 years ago and this time we travelled with our friends and we all had a fabulous time. The barns are very well equipped, extremely comfortable and very spacious and the wine tasting event was superb. Would not hesitate to recommend and come back again.

Woodchester Vineyard is the perfect place for a break with wine tours and tastings. The accommodation is superb, we stayed in rooms at The Barn. Our room was very spacious, tastefully furnished and decorated and spotlessly clean. The wine tour was interesting and informative and our guide was extremely knowledgeable. The range of wines we tasted were excellent and a credit to the vineyard staff.

A truely lovely overnight stay in Amberley at Woodchester Valley Vineyard Guest Barns. Just 100m from the tasting rooms and tours, with views across the valley and the vineyards from every window. The barns are so spacious, luxurious and calming. There isn't anything to do except relax, walk and watch the world go by. We loved it, and would definitely recommend a stay. Lovely stay in Doverow Barn. Very spacious and comfortable accommodation. So nicely done, clean and very cosy with the gas woodburning stove. Excellent big shower and bath - loved the toiletries. Fab views across the vineyard. Will definitely be back.

Had another wonderful stay in Amberley barn The accommodation is a really high standard and spotless Breakfast hamper is everything we wanted and all best quality food We had the Fizz and chips on the first night which was good value and included wine tasting and delicious fish and chip supper The information book could do with updating with regards to restaurants as some have closed and others perhaps changed Our third visit and not our last as it’s super Thank you

Everyone and everything at Woodchester is amazing. We had a wonderful stay at the retreat which our cockapoo enjoyed too. The team had everything covered and thought of and much more besides, from milk, juice, local cakes to logs for the fire and all those little things you always forget. The accommodation was warm, comfortable and of a very high standard not to mention the views which were something else. We can not think of anything that could be added to make the stay better. The wine tasting on our second day and tour of the vineyards topped off a wonderful and much recommended break.

Outstanding experience in every respect. The accommodation was phenomenal; location incredible; vineyard tour amazing; watching the stars at night wonderful - all round fabulous! No one is perfect but this came close - oven or hob to cook would have been nice; food organised for delivery by (Becky Koos - recommended) expensive and only average.

Extraordinary great stay at the vineyard. We did the tasting on arrival at 3pm which I highly recommend. Dylan was very knowledgeable and funny! Everybody we came across was very very kind and super friendly and the accommodation out of this world! I'd recommend to add the charcuterie and cheese hamper, everything local produce and delicious! Thank you also to Gail and Caroline who are very good hosts and booking was super easy. Will recommend to everyone. Oh and not to forget, the wines are very very tasty, spent a fortune but well worth it!

Brilliant combination of wine tour, harvest and gorgeous accommodation made this a wonderful late Xmas present from my wife.

The Amberley Barn Suite exceeded our expectations in all respects - furniture, decor and amenities - and made for a very pleasant and comfortable night's stay. The Wine Tour and tasting was well worth the £25 pp cost payable as an extra. The presentation was presented in an informative and enjoyable manner by two personable staff and the wines were a delicious adventure away from the usual shopping choices. Well worth a visit.

We had a 3 night stay at Woodchester Valley Vineyard, staying in Doverow. The accommodation was of a very high standard, with views from three different balconies. The king size bed was very comfortable and the bathroom with a separate walk in shower and such a lovely large bath, which was just the thing we needed after the long walks. We had the breakfast hamper for our stay, which was plentiful and filled with mostly local products which were beautiful.
