Beautifully decorated and equipped cottage. Very comfortable. Lovely to have access to the delightful gardens, especially in the early morning with our dog. A warm and welcoming place to stay and convenient for local attractions.

We had to find somewhere to stay for a week between house moves, and discovered Easton Walled Gardens. We have a dog, so expected our options to be minimal, but were delighted that we could stay at May Lodge, and bring our boy with us. What a wonderful respite, during a stressful period. The gardens are stunning - even at this time of year, and the Lodge itself catered for all our needs. A generous welcome pack was provided, when we arrived, and the cleanliness, and absolute cosiness made our time there rather special. We wouldn't hesitate to return, and have recommended it to others.

May Lodge at Easton Walled Gardens is the ultimate destination for relaxation. The attention to detail in the cottage is amazing, the welcome pack is perfect and the gardens are a delight.

Immaculate accommodation, well planned, clean and with every thing one could wish for, including a lovely welcome pack and flowers. Perfect setting in beautiful gardens to enjoy at leisure.

This is our second lovely stay at May cottage. Being part of Easton gardens is a great benefit as well! The cottage is spotlessly clean and has everything you need for a weekend stay. Love all the goodies on arrival, especially the sloe gin!. Would definitely recommend staying.

Fantastic stay. Cottage is beautiful and spotless. Having access to the wonderful gardens at any time is a real bonus. The gardens are staggering and a real labour of love. Great pub and farm shop in village. Will definitely visit again.

We were made to feel very welcome by everyone. May Lodge was really lovely and perfect for our needs with our dogs.

May Lodge was very clean and the standard of decoration good. However, the property is very small and I don't think that we could comfortably stay there for a full week. May Lodge is opposite the gift shop and coffee shop which is convenient but not ideal for our dogs who occasionally barked at customers and staff. The staff were all very kind and told me not to worry about the dogs, a big thank you to all of them for their help in several instances. The gardens are simply beautiful, we really enjoyed our stay and have booked a larger cottage away from the shop for a few days in July

Excellent place to stay for a totally relaxing escape. The accommodation was very comfortable- the lodge had been thoughtfully decorated and furnished - stylish and well equipped.

Second time at May Lodge and will definitely be back - it’s so peaceful and relaxing - a real get away from it all in the most beautiful surroundings and lovely comfortable accommodation. Even the dog feels at home

This was our 5th visit to Easton we have only stayed in May Lodge and Hayloft as we like those two. We like the fact that there are no families and noisy children staying and that it is lovely to wander in the gardens and around the estate in the evening. There are lots of places to visit in the area and we are still finding these.

A lovely stay in a beautiful peaceful location. Accommodation was clean and well equipped. The generous welcome pack including wine and home made cake was a lovely touch. I found the duvet too heavy and hot however and suggest a sheet is additionally provided for summer visitors. Otherwise it was delightful. There are lots of places to visit nearby too, including Isaac Newton's birthplace about a mile away.

An excellent cottage. Compact for sure, but plenty of room for 2 and exceptionally well appointed, with high end fittings and items you wouldn't normally expect to find in a holiday cottage. Generous extras too, such as a lovely welcome pack, including a bottle of wine, soft drinks, sloe gin, artisan bread, milk and butter, free unlimited logs and a free EV charger. The cottage also includes access to the gardens, even when it is closed to the public. Walking around the gardens after dinner, with the place to ourselves, was a real treat.

Easton Walled Gardens is a real find. We stayed in May Lodge for my birthday and enjoyed the privilege of experiencing the beautiful gardens and landscape in the evenings as well as during public opening times during the day, The cottage was idyllic and well stocked with thoughtful touches such as the provisions supplied on our arrival. I am happy to recommend this lovely place to anyone who appreciates gardens and tranquillity.

This was the best of holiday cottage . Well equipped, comfortable, generous welcome pack, all in all a perfect retreat for two. An added bonus was having access to the gardens after house- Easton Walled Gardens are delightful .

Very comfortable, well furnished cottage in beautiful grounds. Lovely to be able to walk in them out of hours when they were peaceful. A welcome pack including wine and cake was generous and appreciated. Staff we met whilst there were very pleasant and helpful. We enjoyed our stay, despite poor weather.
