The Fuffins at Hunting Hall

Warm friendly and welcoming owners who do everything they can to make their guests feel at home and actively encourage them take advantage of what they have created on the farm - farm trails, community orchard, wildflower meadow, pond with bird hide.

How do you judge the quality of a holiday cottage? Our principle is - would we go again? Well, we've been staying at 'Fuffins' for the past 14 years! Most visitors seem to re-book straight after their first visit. We holiday extensively in the UK and overseas and have never found anywhere as special as Hunting Hall Farm. To be honest, you have to experience it to believe it. Top class facilities, fantastic location and the cottage is so immaculate it looks as if has been cleaned with a toothbrush! And you will not find better or friendlier hosts than Karen and Tom. A little piece of heaven.

The love, thoughtfulness and care that goes into Hunting Hall holidays is evident in every area. The immaculately cleaned house, the warm welcome by Karen and Tom, the green ethos permeating every part of the farm environment. The Fuffins is spacious, super comfortable and very well equipped. The fact that we keep returning says it all really!

I've been trying to pay attention to what is so special about this place this week so I can take a little of the feeling home with me… All I can gather is that Northumberland has some kind of actual ancient magic seeping from the ground and Karen and Tom capture some of this magic in the perfect bubble of Hunting Hall. The only solution is to keep coming back for top up sips of the potion! As usual we can't thank you enough and can't wait until next time xxx

What to say to do Karen and Tom's place justice? It is a place of true tranquility and beauty. Who doesn't want to start their day waking up in a nest of feathered white linen, listen to birds singing, open the curtains to sun shining over wide countryside and watch a glistening peacock strut nonchalantly past? ... Karen had added really thoughtful extra touches...and Karen and Tom's overall kindnesses made our stay so special....I could go on and on, can't recommend enough: go and enjoy your own little piece of snug haven-ness

The perfect place for a ‘get away from it all’ ‘chill-out’ break – cottages extremely well equipped with loads of information about the area – great garden space to sit outside and enjoy the view or for children to run off steam – and an extremely warm welcome from Karen and Tom – not to mention Karen’s delicious home-made cake awaiting your arrival!
