The Experience
The downstairs sitting room is all yours – warm, comfortable and attractive. Pick a book from the shelves, settle into a comfy sofa, warm yourself by the wood-burner on chilly days, watch TV and feel very much at home. You sleep up in the attic, bright and spacious, which has a separate double bedroom, an extra single bed on the landing, another seating area with a desk in case you need to work and a sparkling shower room.
Continental breakfast can be brought up to your bedroom but if you prefer a cooked one made from local ingredients you can have it in the charming kitchen downstairs after 8.45. Take a cup of tea to the garden where all you’ll hear is birdsong and the cathedral bells – you’re on the same street.
Everything is in walking distance, you can catch a bus to Glastonbury or Bristol and there are miles of footpaths through glorious countryside all around you. The Somerset Levels are close for birdwatching.

Introducing
Alice Yates
Alice and Edward bought the house in 2021 and have since refreshed the interior and done essential repairs. Alice is an architectural historian and heritage consultant who is very much in love with her home and the surrounding area. She's a good source of information about where to go and what to see, so do ask.
Alice was the perfect host, making us feel very welcomed and the beautiful Trinity Cottage is a gem, with a great location so close to the Cathedral precincts. We would definitely return.
