The Experience
Inside is warm, simple and open plan. White stone walls and high pitched ceilings give a feeling of space while the wood-burner keeps you very cosy, and views from each window are of glorious countryside and many curious sheep. The kitchen has room for two and a welcome pack of Bara Brith, Welsh cakes, an artisan loaf, local butter. You can order a breakfast pack – traditional or vegetarian – or one of Kerrie’s seasonal meals ready to pop in the oven.
Open a handmade wooden door to find the bedroom which has windows either side so you’ll wake to the mesmerising views. After long walks in the surrounding beauty you can wallow in a proper bath with organic Bramley soaps. A bench on the slate patio is a grand spot for morning coffee, another round the side is where you’ll have summer meals surrounded by wild roses.
With views of the sea from the top of the garden and Moel y Gest mountain you have the very cream of Snowdonia at your feet.

Such a lovely cottage, you really feel like you're alone in the middle of nowhere. The cottage is very cute with a great bed and spacious bathroom. The kitchen has everything you need. The fireplace was a hit, especially as the weather wasn't that good. We really enjoyed our stay here, very comfortable.

This enchanting cottage has been renovated with love and style and nestles in harmony with its surroundings. Sitting in the garden, surrounded by the glory of nature, the silence is intoxicating. But with beaches and castles on the doorstep and the glory of Snowdonia just minutes away, there is much to explore and then it is back to this glorious retreat. I would return in a heartbeat.

The neighbourhood
Criccieth, a 10-minute drive, has lots of independent shops and delis and a restaurant called Dylan's, an iconic Art Deco-style building just a stone's throw from the beach and serving delicious food from local produce. - Being "off grid" with the glory of Snowdonia on your doorstep.
- Black Rock Sands is only a short drive away with miles and miles of pretty deserted beaches. Run... sunbathe... build sandcastles... or just enjoy the stunning views across the Peninsula.
- Portmeirion was built by the owner's great uncle - Iconic architecture, restaurants, old fashioned ice cream parlours and the most stunning peninsula imaginable!
- Pretty Criccieth is just around the corner... lovely pebbly beach, delis... cafes and Dylans restaurant in a converted art-deco building... Have a glass of wine on the terrace overlooking the sea.
- Climb Snowdon! Or, you can always take the little train up the mountain and have a cuppa at the summit...
- Charming Llanbedrog with its colourful beach huts - the cafe has been recently renovated and has the most delicious cakes imaginable!

Absolutely loved this little cottage, beautiful surroundings and feels like your totally isolated. The photos really don’t do it justice, it really is set in beautiful grounds and location. The cottage is very well equipped, everything you need and the Welsh cake’s were an added bonus. We loved everything about our stay there and only wished it was for longer.
