Wild Meadow

My early ‘spring is almost in the air ‘ visit to Wild Meadow was a return trip of many, I’m booked for my 7th visit in December. It’s such a special place. My family find peace here - every season is special & unique. The house is so comfortable and stylish. Cosy but also light and open. & beautiful details in the design and furnishings. It creates an atmosphere that encourages togetherness. We go with friends, we eat, talk, read, listen to music, & our young folk join us! Its a space you can also be together doing your own thing. Plus the meadow itself is beautiful to walk in. It’s a haven.

That we have stayed here many times speaks for itself, but the fact that the cottage remains as fresh as when we first visited, and that the meadow continues to mature, is a bonus. Andrea and Jonathon have worked hard to create a contemporary, yet cosy, space. The largely wood and whitewashed interior is clean and uncluttered, save for a few artistic touches. That said, it has everything you need, including one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in! The stunningly beautiful area boasts great views, walks, quirky towns and shops, and good places to eat. It's a hard place to leave!

A total gem of a self build which has impeccable eco credentials. A spacious, light-filled property in which even when you are inside you feel as though a part of the outside. Glorious views at every turn and in the master bedroom possibly the best view in the Lugg Valley, Furrow Hill with Offa's Dyke Path running up its spine. A perfect place to decompress and just be.
