The Experience
This large 18th-century house, a former winery, comes with eight acres of land, two wings (Marine and her parents in one, the guests in the other), and truly gorgeous views.
Stroll beneath umbrella pines and cedars, take breakfast on the lawns, bask by the pool. Dinners can be arranged: French, seasonal and served with an array of wonderful local wines. If you like to eat out, there’s a restaurant a 10-minute drive away on the banks of the mighty Garonne.
Perched above vineyards is the enchanting small town of Saint-Émilion (35km). Closer still is Bordeaux, wine capital of the world. Check out the impressive warehouse conversions that line the Garonne; take a tram to the quartier des Chartrons. The old heart of the old city bursts with restaurants, boutiques, galleries and the most exciting wine museum in the world, La Cité du Vin. For family adventures in a beautiful river and woodland setting, Au Fil du Ciron (35km) is a must.

Introducing
Marine Jouanneau
Marine, who once lived and worked in the Middle East, now runs an agency, Agence Beybo, specialising in events with local food and wine producers. She and her parents, self-confessed 'bon vivants', love food, wine, architecture and art. In 2021 they decided to throw open the doors of their much-loved house to B&B guests, offering meals accompanied by lovely local wines.
Marine and her family have created a paradise from an old wine estate in heavenly countryside. It is a place to go to to relax and enjoy the best of the Bordeaux region, enjoying the authentic, welcoming family and their very beautiful home.
