Villa Kaete

We absolutely loved staying here at Sonia’s wonderul house. The local area is amazing with its beautiful beaches, stunning sunsets and great restaurants. It’s very authentically portugese, we found it to be the perfect spot on our trip between Nazare and Setubal. We will definitely be back and recommend it to our friends and family.

We thoroughly enjoyed our three nights at Villa Kaete. Sonja is a great hostess who runs her beautifully decorated B&B with a lot of love. The garden of the house is very beautiful and the natural pool is probably very attractive not only in summer. Our room was large and comfortable, and if there wasn't so much to explore in the area, the bed would be a cozy place as well. But as it was, we mainly explored the surroundings, with many good suggestions from our hostess. A clear recommendation.

My stay was wonderful, it’s an inspiring house, very stylish, clean and comfortable, with beautiful corners and a garden where you can close your eyes and enjoy the charm of the place. Sonia was a wonderful host, with so much care and attention to detail, offering plentiful breakfasts and enjoyable conversations. The perfect place to just enjoy the peace for a few days. We were there for 5 days. Thank you Sonia, everything was perfect.

A blissful bolt hole in an undiscovered part of Portugal. Sonja is an incredible host - she has trained in both interiors and luxury hotels… and it shows. Stunning decor and warm, generous hospitality throughout: delicious outdoor breakfasts, welcome drinks on the terrace, fluffy bathrobes, evening turndown service and a 5* concierge service with top tips for food and drink, local sights, surfing and so much more. The natural pool, beautiful interiors, her friendly charm and Bella the dog combine to make this a truly special place to stay.

We arrived from a bicycle trip from the north and it was a real discovery to be in this town that is a magical place. A paradise in Portugal. Its owner, Sonia, an excellent hostess, and Bella, her adorable pet, have made our stay very pleasant. Without a doubt, a place to always return to.

We love this place!!! Sonia is a warm and caring host, provides a wonderful breakfast in her lovely and well furnished house - all tidy and amazing decorated, neat and homely. We enjoyed all days and the relaxed evenings, got hints and advices and are very happy we met: Sonia, her friends and Bella, her endearing dog. Thank you very much! We hope to see you again.

What an amazing place! Sonia is a great host. We stayed in a lovely room with a big bathroom - all very tastefully furnished with a lot of attention to detail. The garden is stunningly beautiful and there's a nature pool. The dog Bella gives the place even more character :). She's a very kind dog We'll definitely come back! Thanks for everything Sonia!

The Villa Kaete is very nice and quiet. Our stay witt Sonja, our guest, was wonderful. The villa is near the sea, not so far from Lisabon. I recommend and for sure I will come back! Thanks a lot Sonja!

We had a brilliant stay at Sonia's place and will definitely come back as soon as we find the time. Her knowledge of the area, hidden restaurant gems and simply her nice and welcoming manner made our experience unique. A house decorated with an exquisite taste and very cosy . Sonia, the owner, takes care of even the smallest detail and during the five days of our stay, we have felt at home. Without a doubt, an experience to repeat !!. Highly recommended!

My stay at Villa Kaete was wonderful - Sonja is an great host and really went above and beyond for me. During my stay I joined Sonja for a surf lesson and went to a local seafood restaurant that I otherwise wouldn't have tried or even known about. The best part of the weekend was spending time with Sonja's beautiful dog Bella. I will definitely be back at Villa Kaete next time I am in Portugal.

I felt at Sonia's warmly welcome from the moment I arrived there. Sonia is a fantastic woman and a great host. Villa Kaete is a wonderful home that shows it was all made with love. Bella, her dog is absolutely sweet. I really had fun playing with Bella in the fantastic garden which is full of colorful plants. Surely, I will come back. My husband and I stayed at Villa Kaete for a night as we made our way south to Lisbon on our Northern Spain/Portugal Honeymoon tour. The home and garden are both absolutely stunning, our bedroom cozy and beautifully decorated, but what really made our stay was Sonja's hospitality. Looking forward to coming back for a longer stay in the future!

Great place to be! I had a wonderful and relaxed time during my stay. Sonja is the most generous and caring host I have met in a long time. The place is quiet, close to the sea, the pool fantastic, very clean and not to forget her lovely dog Bella. Definately recommendable - I will visit Sonjas place again!

Sonja es una persona encantadora.tiene una casa preciosa , comoda, limpia y decorada con un gusto exquisito. Nos ayudo mucho y recomendo playas y sitios de interes. La estancia en su casa fue memorable , el desayuno estupendo y la cama de las mas comodas que he probado en mi vida.bella es un perro de compañia con un caracter buenisimo y adiestrado . La ultima noche sonja nos presento a unos amigos y hasta terminamos invitados a una fantastica barbacoa con muy buena compañia y buen vino. Villa Käthe is a beautiful place, perfect to relax and disconnect. Sonja is an incredible host, we didn´t miss anything at all. It´s like being at home in Portugal!
