Guide to staying at Domaine Paul Huc- L’Ecurie & Domaine Paul Huc- Les Tonneliers

This former wine cellar estate is still run by the family who built it in the 19th century. The mellow stone buildings sit in the heart of the medieval village of Fabrezan surrounded by rows of neat vines, quiet lanes and gloriously green countryside. Walk for miles without meeting another soul, swim from sandy beaches or in sparkling lakes, visit vineyards and taste regional wines, or just sit under the shade of mature trees and listen to nought but the comforting chatter of cicadas.
